Kobe harbour at dusk: the lit Port Tower and Maritime Museum, with Mount Rokko behind

From Kobe to Japan, and on to the world.

YU-SHIN is a consulting firm that specialises in restaurants.

From a single restaurant, out into Kobe.

I have run restaurants since 2014. Working the floor and running the business myself taught me how demanding restaurant work is, and how hard it is to succeed.

    牛処 慶(うしどころ けい)

    Omi beef takes centre stage.

Yakiniku of Sawai Hime Wagyu, heifer Omi beef; at the counter, the manager slices it in front of you. Our flagship, opened in Nishi-Motomachi in 2019, with a counter, horigotatsu tables and private rooms. Open for lunch too.

  2. A mountain of beef at Kobe Horumon Kei

    Kobe Horumon Kei

    神戸ホルモン 慶(こうべホルモン けい)

    Ushidokoro Kei's DNA, in Sannomiya.

Our second restaurant, opened on 6 April 2024 on Sannomiya's Sankita-dori: yakiniku centred on horumon (offal). It carries Ushidokoro Kei's DNA into a new room and new flavours. The signature is jiro-style takiniku, simmered in an iron pan at the table.

  3. Teppanyaki steak at Oumitei Hana

    Oumitei Hana

    近江亭 華(おうみてい はな)

    Omi beef, on the teppan.

Teppanyaki devoted to Sawai Hime Wagyu, an Omi beef, in the same building as our head office in Nishi-Motomachi. It also makes premium bento for meetings and business entertaining, and the name is one of our bento brands.
